Wise Women Salon: The Awakened Heart

            Women are awakening to the fact that our essential soul purpose does not lie in the realm of masculine accomplishment but in serving the Truth of the Heart, our own heart and humanity’s heart.  We are beginning to understand that our unique gift for birthing new Life is just one aspect of our ability to access the great blessings of Wisdom. 

Feminine power lies in:

·         creating love and connection,

·         creativity and self-expression,

·         meaning and purpose.

 

Women want to share our gifts with our families and communities, with our friends and the world.   We want to create a more peaceful, just world for our children’s children.  We want to stretch our wings and share our life’s purpose with the world.

The path to our purpose is the path of Love and Wisdom, to our Awakened Heart.

With Venus making a big statement in the Cosmic Story, in this Wise Women Salon we’ll take part in the ancient mystery of Love’s Awakening, mapping our way with the myth of Psyche and Eros.  When our soul (psyche) embraces the mystery of Love (eros), our hearts awaken and we walk the paths of Wisdom.  

Come prepared to move, talk, feel, imagine and create your own initiation into your Awakened Heart.  Bring your journal to write, draw and dream in.  Wear comfortable clothes.  Bring the wound that needs healing.  Bring an open Heart.

 Thanks for asking about our Wise Women Salon.  I've been teaching them for a few years now. 

Our topic for July is The Awakened Heart.  I'll talk a bit about the astrological climate this summer - I'll need your birth information so we can find out where your Venus is in the natal chart and work off of it too.

 What we'll journey (Jungians call it active imagination) through the 4 stages of Love using the myth of Psyche and Eros.  Everyone has some issue centered around love - whether it's finding a partner, having a partner, dealing with parents or children, figuring out your soul purpose etc.  We'll work with that issue and take it through the myth. We might do movement exercises as well as some brain exercises that will open your right brain to the imagination.

At the end, you should have an answer and a direction to go in.

The cost is $60.00 for the workshop, and we'll need a deposit of at least $30.00 to reserve your place.  It's going to be held in Wakefield RI at a private home.
